Launch Vehicle

Agnikul is a private launch startup building the Agnibaan rocket and the Agnilet engine. Agnilet is the world's first single-piece, 3D-printed semi-cryogenic engine. Agnibaan is a two-stage, carbon-composite rocket (18 m tall, 14 t mass) designed for small satellites.

Its first stage clusters 5–7 Agnilet engines, and it can place a ~100 kg payload into a 700 km orbit. The company emphasizes rapid launch turnaround (rocket ready in ~2 weeks) and a mobile launch pad named Dhanush (inaugurated Nov 2022) that is India's first privately built launch facility. Agnibaan's modular design allows customization of the engine cluster and payload capacity per customer.

Key Products

Agnilet 5 kN semi-cryogenic engine (single-piece 3D printed) and Agnibaan launcher.

Core Capabilities

Customizable engine clustering, dedicated payload delivery to LEO (up to ~700 km).

Key Milestones & Traction

Inaugurated India's first private spaceport (Dhanush, Sriharikota) in Nov 2022; SOrTeD suborbital flights underway.
